I am new to the hunt, but I have seen things here that harken back to the days of Edward Longshanks. These vile beings drink the blood and the souls or our mortal kin. They must pay for their crimes. What works best? How many of the legends are true?

Frog is correct here. Stakes do not kill a blood sucker. Stakes will only paralyze them. As Frog mentioned -- the only way to kill a vampire is by severing its head.

It doesn't seems to do much, but they don't seem to not like silver either. Or at least enough bullets made from silver. I killed 1 on my own. It was incredibly not easy. I don't think I can do that again. Not alone. I think I am going to try to find others like me here in England.
